​Annabell Pu (b. 2002) is a Chinese American artist based in London whose practice investigates how memory, knowledge and identity become embedded through material processes. She holds a BFA in General Fine Arts and Humanistic Studies with a minor in Art History from MICA, and an MA in Curating Contemporary Art from RCA.

Working primarily with hand-carved plywood, she transforms a utilitarian construction material into contemplative sculpture inspired by ancient low-relief tablets, preserving traces of everyday experience. Drawing from personal photographs, architecture and bodily observation, her labour-intensive process slows fleeting moments into objects that carry the weight of time. Recent work has expanded beyond memory alone to consider the structures that support learning, habit and transmission, exploring how knowledge is accumulated through repetition and embodied practice. Her installations bring together sculpture, carving and architectural thinking to question how people construct ideas of home through movement, care and material relationships.
